Keisha Telfer, Broker of Record & President

Keisha Tefler Website 1“I’m here to listen to your story, understand your needs and educate you on your lifestyle options so you can make informed decisions about your life’s next chapter. What I love most about my job is the chance to guide clients through some of their most important life transitions.”

Keisha is a real estate expert and a co-founder of Transitions Realty. She can provide you with valuable support and direction during a major downsizing or rightsizing transition.

Professional Background

While growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, Keisha came to appreciate homes and design when her grandmother completed a home renovation and her mother bought land and built a beautiful family home. After graduating from the University of Greenwich in London, United Kingdom, with a master’s degree in Construction Project Management, Keisha managed a portfolio of social housing developments. In 2012, Keisha immigrated to Canada, where she attained Canadian credentials in Construction Project Management and a Real Estate Broker licence.

Keisha has served many clients including first-time buyers, people looking to upsize to a bigger home, and those wanting to downsize. While she loves working with all types of clients, she’s especially drawn to downsizers seeking to reinvent themselves with a lifestyle change.

Keisha understands the benefits of downsizing through personal experience. She knows first-hand how good it feels to sell a home and put its equity toward serving a new goal.

Keisha maintains active relationships with a vast network of developers, construction professionals, retirement coaches, mortgage specialists, financial advisors, home inspectors, movers and more.

When Keisha is not helping you transform your life, you might find her cycling, hiking or getting her hands dirty on a do-it-yourself project. She also loves travelling because it helps her learn about different cultures, try new delicacies and make new friends.

Vincent Côté, Broker & CEO

VC HS“Selling your business, once you’re ready to do so, will be one of the most significant transactions you’ll ever make in your life. I’m here to ensure your business is fully prepared for sale and you feel confident about your transition … with no regrets.”

A co-founder of Transitions Realty, Vincent is a practising business broker, a certified business coach and a small business advisor specializing in exit planning. If you’re considering selling your small business, Vincent can help you create and implement a business exit plan to sell on your desired timetable, on your own terms, without leaving money on the table.

Professional Background

Vincent has a 20-year background in the capital markets finance industry, where he gained extensive experience in trading, risk management, and cross-functional project management.

During a sabbatical from work, Vincent decided it was time to follow in his entrepreneurial family’s footsteps. He would acquire his own small business—one that aligned with his family’s tradition of small businesses serving others. While searching for a business to buy, he noticed a confusing and disturbing pattern. Business owners didn’t seem to be well prepared to sell, even though they had their companies on the market. “Why?”, he wondered.

The answer is simple and has become the heart of Transitions Philosophy.

“You’re not a Transaction, You’re making a Transition!”

Vincent now uses his expertise to help small business owners prepare themselves and their business for a transition through a process called Exit Planning. And if selling is your optimal exit path, he will find the right buyer and facilitate the transaction.

Vincent is one of only 20 Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA) in Canada, as well as a Certified Value Builder and a Certified Executive Coach. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance.

When he’s not busy guiding owners through the 7 steps to successfully selling a small business, Vincent might be travelling, bicycling or riding his motorbike.

Silvana Longo, Content Curator & Media Relations

Silvana Longo scaled e1617293555857“A storyteller at heart, capturing the human spirit and the power of transformation are what inspire me most as a writer.”

Professional Background

Silvana Longo is a seasoned writer and editor who has worked in lifestyle magazines for two decades. From interior design, décor, travel, beauty, and fashion, she is a quintessential aesthete with a penchant for promoting the good life. While print publishing is her first love, she approached her digital publishing education with the same passion and reverence she has always had for the written word. No matter the medium, the message is still what matters most. Quality always outweighs quantity, and authenticity guides all communication initiatives.

Whether she is writing a magazine article, a blog post or a video script, connecting with readers or a niche demographic is a guiding principle, and delivering copy that is informative, engaging and uplifting with possibilities is her signature.

The opportunity to work with Transitions Realty to help empower people to downsize early and enjoy their third chapter to the maximum resonated with her deeply. She witnessed first-hand what not planning for it looks like and happily joined our team to help us help our clients downsize with intention and upgrade their life.

When she’s not working with us, she loves to travel—did we mention, she is an all-about-Italy travel editor? – keeping fit, cooking and enjoying time with friends, and she thinks life is just always a bit better on a beach.
